Site work and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Pine Plains, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and for outdoor lighting for a playground / park / athletic field.

This Phase includes reconstruction of the Track, Tennis Courts, Sports Lighting, Track Scoreboard and Refurbishment of the Elevator. Each bid shall be on a stipulated sum basis for the following contracts: Site Work Construction (SC) Bidder must provide Bid Security in the amount and form, per the terms indicated in Section Instructions to Bidders. All Bids will remain subject to acceptance for forty-five (45) days following the receipt of Bids. The Owner may, in its sole discretion, reject any Bid and return Bid Security prior to that date. The Pine Plains Central School District reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in the Bids received, and/ or to reject all Bids without explanation. Doc Notes: It is the intention of this Project to be both environmentally and fiscally conscious of paper use and consumption. Therefore, documents will be distributed as digital sets. Bidding Documents, Drawings, and Specifications may be viewed online free of charge beginning 03-16-2026 at online under 'Public Projects', or electronically downloaded for a non-refundable fee of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) SED No. 13-13-01-04-0-009-021 SED No. 13-13-01-04-0-009-022 Provide every request for such interpretation in writing, addressed to CSArch, Attention: Brenden Brogan, 40 Beaver Street, Albany, New York 12207, by e-mail: bbrogan@csarchpc.com, with the subject line to read School District Bid Question and to be given consideration must be received at least seven (7) business days prior to the date of the Bid Opening. SITE WORK CONSTRUCTION (SC) - CONTRACT NO. 01 A. Project Site Superintendent: SC shall provide a full time Project Site Superintendent while any Work related to this Contract is being performed, including the activities of their subcontractors, while other Prime Contracts are installing Work, or require the coordination of Work related to this Contract, and/or as requested by the Construction Site Representative. 1. Superintendent may be a Working Foreman as long as the daily requirements of the Contract are maintained, as they relate to the Construction Documents and the Project Schedule. The Construction Site Representative reserves the right to revoke this privilege if in their opinion these requirements are not maintained. 2. Superintendents shall participate in weekly meetings to schedule and coordinate the Work, in a manner that best promotes the Master Construction Schedule and the objectives of the Project. 3. The Superintendent shall be able to make binding decisions on behalf of the Prime Contractor, as they relate to the daily activities of their crew, adjustments in Work scope, and achieving the goals of the Project. 4. Prime Contract shall submit the resume of proposed Superintendent for approval by the Owner and CSArch prior to commencement of the Contract. a. Project Site Superintendent shall be an individual with minimum of three (3) years' experience in this field of Work. b. The Superintendent shall have a minimum of one (1) years' experience Working for the Prime Contractor and be the same individual throughout the duration of the Project. c. Refer to Division 01 Section "Project Management and Coordination" for further requirements. B. Scope of Work: Work of the SC includes but is not limited to, the following: 1. Work delineation between building and site is at five feet (5') outside of the face of building existing and new, unless noted or assigned otherwise. a. Curb and sidewalk reconstruction shall extend to the face of building(s). 2. Environmental Protection: Provide protection and conduct construction in ways and by methods that comply with environmental regulations and that minimize possible air, waterway, and subsoil contamination or pollution or other undesirable effects. a. Restrict use of noisemaking tools and equipment to hours that will minimize complaints from people or firms on or near the Project Site. b. Provide dust control while Work of this Contract is being performed. Limit situations that may create dust contamination while Work of this Control is idle. c. Refer to Section 01 "Work Restrictions" for additional information. 3. Provide all site improvements indicated in the Construction Documents, unless specifically noted otherwise. 4. Obtain all permits required by NYS, NYSDOT, Town/Village of Pine Plains, and/or Dutchess County, required to perform the Work of this Prime Contract. a. SC shall directly coordinate the Work of this Prime Contract with the respective authorities having jurisdiction of right-of-way(s). 5. Provide all removals, replacement, and new asphalt and/or concrete pavements, subbase materials, and coatings as indicated. a. Provide all Work associated with surfacing system(s) at athletic facilities. b. Repair/replace all existing areas scheduled to remain that are damaged by truck or equipment traffic. Verify existing conditions prior to beginning of Work, bringing any issues to the Construction Site Representative's attention. 6. Provide all accessories related to parking lot and drives reconstruction, including but not limited to striping, parking stops, signage, etc. as indicated in the Construction Documents. 7. Provide any/all UG Storm Water and/or Sanitary structures, piping and related Work as indicated in the Construction Documents. 8. Provide any/all removals, replacement and new concrete sidewalks, curbs as indicated in the Construction Documents. 9. Provide trenching/excavation and compacted backfill operations related to all UG utility installations. a. Coordinate with EC for respective UG [conduits] Work as required by the Construction Documents. 10. Provide all fencing and other amenities associated with the Work as indicated, if included and/or required by the Construction Documents. 11. Provide removal of existing wood utility/light poles, following removal of electrical infrastructure by EC. 12. Provide removal and replacement of scoreboard at athletic field. a. Provide related delegated-design support structure and foundations. b. Coordinate trenching and electrical infrastructure Work with EC. 13. Provide all Control Lines and Elevations as required. SC shall coordinate transfer of lines and elevations to other locations as necessary. 14. Provide all final grading and landscaping as indicated in the Construction Documents, related to the Work of this Prime Contract. 15. Provide Final Cleaning at the time of Substantial Completion or as directed by Construction Site Representative and/or Owner. a. Refer to Division 01 Section "Final Cleaning" for further information
