Scope of Work: Perform moisture scan of entire roof area Remove and replace wet insulation Prepare existing membrane (grid slicing to allow ventilation) Install: o 1/2 " HD ISO cover board (mechanically attached) o Fully adhered membrane roofing system (Fibertite or equivalent) Remove and replace all: o Existing wall flashings o Edge metals Install: o New coping or snap-on fascia at all perimeters o Counter flashing at all wall conditions Flash all: o CurbsGROUP 2 - OVERLAY WITH ADDITIONAL INSULATION Roofs 9 and 11 These roofs require additional insulation to meet current code requirements. Scope of Work: Perform moisture scan and replace wet insulation Prepare existing membrane (grid slicing) Install: o Loose-laid insulation (~2.6" or as required for R-value compliance) o 1/2 " HD ISO cover board (mechanically attached) o Fully adhered membrane roofing system Replace all flashing and edge systems as described in Group 1 Flash all penetrations and drains - GROUP 3 - FULL TEAR-OFF TO DECK (CONCRETE DECK CONDITION) Roof 1 This roof requires complete removal due to existing conditions. Scope of Work: Remove all roofing materials down to concrete deck Install: o R-30 tapered insulation system (adhered) o 1/2 " HD ISO cover board o Fully adhered membrane roofing system Install: o New coping / fascia Lawhon & Associates, Inc. (L&A) conducted a limited asbestos containing roofing materials assessment at Liberty Union High School, located at 500 Washington Street, Baltimore Ohio 43105, and Liberty Union Elementary School, located at 1000 South Main Street Baltimore, Ohio 43105, part of Liberty Union – Thurston Local School District. The inspection was conducted on November 26, 2025, by Mr. Austin Coldren, Ohio Environmental Protection Agency (OEPA) Certified Asbestos Hazard Evaluation Specialist (CAHES) [AHES #ES548697] of L&A.
