Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Calgary, Alberta. Conceptual plans call for the construction of a 69,000-square-foot, 200-space fitness / recreation center; swimming pool; and library.
Construction of a new recreation centre and library in West District. The West District is generally described as lands located south of the Old Banff Coach Rd. SW, east of 85 St. SW, west of 77 St. SW, and north of 9 Ave SW. YMCA Calgary, Calgary Public Library, and local developer Truman are proposing a joint-use community recreation centre and library. Plans call for 60,000 sq. ft. of recreation space, and a 9,000 square foot library. Method of delivery will be Construction Management. TIMELINE: Request for Proposals for Prime Consultant services is currently underway. Construction is planned for 2028. Further update may be available by mid-2026.
