The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 01, VA Boston Healthcare System requires the provision of a worktop, self-contained Blast Chiller/Shock Freezer to quickly chill cooked foods in a safe manner for storage and holding. Equipment required includes an American Panel brand Model# AP7BCF70-2-C-P Blast Chiller/Shock Freezer or equivalent, and accessories: R448a refrigeration replacement, thaw capability with thaw probe and necessary hardware, sanitation ozone generator, two food probes, USB interface, set of casters, and dock-to-dock delivery. Units proposed as 'or equivalent' must meet all enclosed specifications for electrical, space, performance, and capacity, including: capacity for seven 18" x 26" pans, ability to chill from 160°F to 38°F in 90 minutes and from 160°F to 0°F in 240 minutes, LCD touch screen controller, heated food probe, stainless steel interior and exterior, six stainless steel legs, 1-1/2 HP, R290 refrigerant, compliance with US Classified EPH, Cul, ANSI/NSF, 208V/60/1-ph, 12.0 amps, 6' cord, NEMA L6-20P, 3-year parts and labor warranty, and 5-year compressor warranty. Only new Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) items from OEM, authorized dealers, distributors, or resellers will be accepted. Bidders must submit signed and dated quotes providing detailed technical description, pricing, express warranty terms, and acknowledgment of all terms and conditions. Quotes that do not comply with all requirements and terms will not be considered.
