The Ministry is planning and replacing the existing sand dome and salt storage sheds at the Pontypool Patrol Yard with a larger single material storage building. Also as part of this contract, The Ministry is planning on replacing the existing sand dome at the Lindsay Patrol Yard with a storage shed. The contract shall include an engineered design of the new material storage building. The design is to consider the loading of salt and sand as well as snow, wind and other loading requirements as required. The existing sand and salt storage structures are to be demolished and properly disposed of as part of this contract.
