The Livonia Public Schools Board of Education invites submission of sealed bids for Coolidge - Water Main Improvements. Bids must meet or exceed all specifications. Sealed bids marked "Coolidge - Water Main Improvements Bid" will be received until 12:00 p.m. on the specified date at the Board of Education complex. All bids must include: a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owner or employees of the bidder and any members of specified school boards or administrations; a sworn and notarized Affidavit of Compliance - Iran Economic Sanctions Act; the Equal Opportunity Statement; and a Treasury-listed bid bond or certified check for not less than five percent (5%) of the contract for each bid over $30,500. Bids must be submitted on forms provided in the bid packet, with all sheets returned, and all proposals shall remain firm for ninety (90) days. Prices are to be F.O.B. destination, exempt from all taxes. The Board of Education reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, award by line item, and waive irregularities or informalities. All purchases are exempt from state and federal taxes. No oral, telephone, fax, or email bids accepted. Bids must be submitted in two signed copies, with one retained by the bidder.
