Renovation of an educational facility in Ellisville, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Sealed bids are solicited for the 2026 Reroofing Program at Jones County Junior College. Plans and specifications may be obtained by qualified Prime (General) Contractors, Subcontractors, and Material Suppliers in hard copy or digital format. Copies will also be available in plan rooms in major cities and locally upon bona fide requests. Proposals must be submitted in duplicate, using the blank proposal forms provided, and must include Proposal Security (Certified Check or Bid Bond) equal to at least five percent (5%) of the Base Bid. The security is to be forfeited as liquidated damages by any bidder failing to carry out the proposal terms, execute the contract, and post the required Performance Bond in the specified time. Bids must be received by the scheduled period and cannot be withdrawn for sixty (60) days after closing time. Any bid over $50,000 by a Prime or Subcontractor must comply with the Mississippi Contractors Act of 1985 by obtaining a Certificate of Responsibility. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive informalities.
