Description

Renovation of an elderly care / assisted living facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a elderly care / assisted living facility.

The general scope is as follows: Replace existing boiler with two (2) new high-efficiency natural gas condensing boilers. Sequence the project to keep the hot water heating system operational through the project. Create a primary/secondary HW loop system. Provide two (2) new Boiler Pumps and replace the two (2) secondary existing pumps. All pumps shall be provided with Variable Frequency Drives. Rework the boiler flue venting. Connect the new hot water system to the existing Schneider Electric EcoStruxure BAS system. Rework electrical power for new mechanical systems. Convert existing 3-way valves on VAV boxes to 2-way by closing the bypass valve. Wake County reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
