Site work and paving for a road / highway in Healy, Alaska. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Provide all equipment, labor, and materials necessary to construct new access to the area south of Center Pit. The design includes approximately 1300 feet of new road construction, road resurfacing, over-excavation through road cut sections in friable sedimentary rock, replacing excavated sections with compacted gravel, and establishing drainage via culvert installation along the access road. Maintenance of the existing access road is also included. Sealed bids will be received for this project. Bids may be held for a period of forty calendar days from the date of opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of the bidders prior to awarding the contract. Disadvantaged Business Enterprises are encouraged to submit proposals. Individuals with disabilities who may need auxiliary aids, services, and/or special modifications to submit a proposal should contact the TTD number no later than one week prior to the submittal date to make any necessary arrangements. Engineer's Estimate is between $500,000 and $1,000,000.
