Bids are being accepted for 4,500 cubic yards, more or less, of Class 5 or better gravel. Bids may be submitted for the whole Township, only the North Half (North of County Road #10), or only the South Half (South of County Road #10). Bids must include the name and location of the pit, the cost of the gravel, loading and hauling, and must be delivered no later than July 31. Any fuel surcharge should be listed separately. All bids must be accompanied by a certified check for 5% of the bid amount and a Certificate of Insurance for Workmen's Compensation and Employer's Liability Coverage. Gravel is to be delivered according to maps furnished by the Township. The Board reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive any irregularities, and award the bid in the best interest of the Township.
