Description

Demolition and site work for a residential development in Buckhannon, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the demolition of a residential development; and for site work for a residential development.

The Upshur County Commission, West Virginia (herein referred to as the "Commission") is requesting bids for the removal of asbestos-containing material, demolition and removal of a residential structure, and clean-up of the site The Upshur County Commission does not discriminate based on actual or perceived race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age or disability for the provision of services. The Upshur County Commission reserves the right to reject any bids, in whole or in part, and waive any informality during the bidding process. Each bidder shall deposit with the bid, a guarantee for not less than ten percent (10%) of the aggregate amount of the base bid. In place of a Bid Bond, the vendor may provide certified checks, cashier's checks, or irrevocable letters of credit. Any certified check, cashier's check, or irrevocable letter of credit provided instead of a bond must be of the same amount and delivered on the same schedule as the bond it replaces. Personal or business checks are not acceptable. The Commission reserves the right to reject any or all proposals or to award the contract to the next recommended Company if the successful Company fails to execute an agreement within ten (10) calendar days after being notified of the award of this proposal.
