Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Sanford, Florida. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility; and for paving for a transportation facility.

The project consists of extending Taxiway A to the west approximately 3,950 feet; constructing a new Taxiway A1 as a connector between Taxiway A and the runway end; designing taxiway edge lighting and signage to accommodate changes associated with the proposed taxiway extension; performing modifications to the existing airfield electrical vault equipment to support additional load; designing a stormwater dry retention pond for treatment of proposed pavement; designing stormwater drainage infrastructure to accommodate the proposed taxiway extension; relocating the existing wind cone; relocating or modifying existing utilities as needed, with impacts to existing underground power and fiber anticipated; and installing new pavement markings for the proposed taxiway extension. The work generally consists of constructing a new P-401 asphalt taxiway, demolition of existing asphalt pavement, construction of new asphalt pavement, drainage, grading, pavement marking, and installation of new LED airfield lighting and signage. Bidders must submit electronic sealed responses by creating an account with OpenGov, then following the provided instructions to upload all required documents. All blanks in the proposal forms must be completed for every bid item, with prices stated in both written and numeral formats. Proposals must be accompanied by a bid guaranty equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Evidence of competency, financial ability, and any required certifications, forms, and lists must be submitted. Bidders are expected to thoroughly examine the site, plans, and specifications; familiarize themselves with all laws, rules, and conditions; and comply with all requirements. Proposals not meeting requirements, incomplete proposals, or those received after the deadline will be rejected. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any and all proposals in the Owner's best interest. Award will be made to the lowest responsive, responsible bidder.
