Delaware State University (DSU) is soliciting proposals from qualified and experienced solar energy contractors to provide comprehensive design, engineering, procurement, installation, commissioning, and optional maintenance services for a grid-tied solar photovoltaic (PV) system, with an anticipated total project cost of approximately $1,000,000.00. The objective of this project is to reduce long-term electricity expenditures, support DSU's sustainability goals, and enhance educational and research opportunities related to renewable energy technologies. The Owner-provided Construction Management software, PROCORE, shall be utilized as the mandatory project management platform for all phases of the Work under this Contract. The project delivery method will be based on a turnkey design-build approach There will be NO mandatory pre-bid meeting. Bid bond is not required for this this RFP. The term of the Contract between the successful bidder and the University shall be for three (3) years. However, warrantee of the project will be at least two years after completion. Grant Funds will be used to fund this project. The University reserves the right to award this contract to more than one vendor pursuant to 29 Del. C. 6926.
