Construction of a water control structure to manage flows between Green Lake and the diversion canal, including a superstructure comprised of NZ26 sheetpile and related connections and reinforcement. The structure features an inlet overflow weir to allow overflow from the lake above elevation 2.0 ft (datum) and discharge through two 48-in reinforced concrete pipes to the adjacent diversion canal. Work also includes removal of the old structure remains, installation of inlet and outlet side rock rip rap pads, upgrading an embankment access road extending over the structure, and development of contractors site access. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit is required. HDR contracted Braun Intertec to perform subsurface exploration and laboratory testing services for the project. The project site is located north of the intersection of Hog Bayou Road and 1-35 in Tivoli, Calhoun County, Texas. The scope of work included staking exploration locations, drilling soil borings, laboratory testing, and providing this Geotechnical Data Report (GDR). Professional surveying, engineering, and providing geotechnical recommendations is excluded from our scope of work.
