Sealed Bids are invited for the supply and installation of approximately 5,400 linear feet of HDPE water main, appurtenances, and associated work to serve Travis County Improvement District No.1. Each Bid must be accompanied by a Bid bond or a certified or cashier's check, acceptable to the Owner, in an amount not less than two percent of the total Bid amount, as a guarantee that the successful bidder will enter into the Contract Documents, execute the Bonds on the forms provided, and provide the required insurance certificates and Bonds within seven days after the Contract Documents are received by the successful bidder. If a certified or cashier's check is provided, the successful bidder shall deliver the original to the bid opening address within one business day of receipt of the bid opening. Bidders must register on www.CivCastUSA.com to view or download specifications, plans, and any addenda. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, waive all defects and irregularities in bidding or the bidding process except the time for submitting a Bid, and select the responsible bidder most advantageous to the District and resulting in the best and most economical completion of the Project. The requirements of Subchapter J, Chapter 552, Government Code, may apply, and the Contract Documents may be terminated if the bidder knowingly or intentionally fails to comply with a requirement of that subchapter.
