**As of April 29th, 2026, this project has been awarded to KJU, Inc. for $1,034,847. The work includes construction of a new lift station, 1,800 lineal feet of 4-inch diameter force main, cleanouts, air release valves, demolition of the existing WWTF, 64 lineal feet of 8-foot diameter RCP pipe for emergency storage, site work, all necessary electrical enclosures and appurtenances for operation, and other work described or reasonably inferable from the project manual. Each bid must be accompanied by bid security amounting to five percent of the bid. The successful bidder must submit a sworn affidavit and documentation verifying enrollment and participation in the federal work authorization program and verification that all employees are not illegal immigrants. Upon contract signing, the contractor and all subcontractors must provide a ten-hour OSHA construction safety program for on-site employees. Disadvantaged business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the basis of race, color, or national origin. The contract will be awarded to the most responsive, responsible bidder submitting the lowest bid. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive irregularities in the best interest of the owner.
