Demolition, site work, paving and new construction of a mixed-use development in Wheaton, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a 172,638-square-foot, three-story above grade road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; pre-engineered storage facility; water / sewer project; for the demolition of a pre-engineered storage facility; and for the construction of a pre-engineered storage facility.

The project consists of Complete demolition of the existing building on site. New pre-engineered metal building (PEMB) that includes concrete, masonry, carpentry, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, & fire protection. Detention basin earthwork, site utilities, asphalt paving, etc. Project consists of new Division of Transportation facilities on the DuPage County campus. Facilities include: HMF Facility, HMF Yard and storage, Salt Building, Wash Building, Fueling station, Parking Garage Lobby/ Elevator, North ring road improvements, Fairgrounds Restroom facility, & Fairgrounds Parking lot improvements. Scope includes: mass grading, site utilities, existing structure demolition, environmental abatement, CIP concrete, precast concrete (struct & arch), masonry, structural steel, carpentry, general trades, millwork, roofing, metal facade, aluminum systems and glazing, HM/wood/ FRP doors and frames, overhead doors, flooring, tiling, painting, finishes, fabric tensile roof structure, fueling dispenser/ tanks/ canopy, elevators, fire suppression, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, low voltage, solar renewable energy systems, fire alarm, landscaping, & stormwater planting specialist. The Work shall be conducted in multiple phases, with each phase substantially complete as indicated on the logistic plan. The focus is that some areas will not be available during certain time periods and must be accessible to the Owner (before and/or after). Other areas are intended to be turned over quicker than the final substantial completion for the full project to provide occupancy by Owner.
