Jackson Ave. and Murdock St. Pedestrian Improvements - labor, materials and equipment required for the installation of hot mix asphalt (HMA) sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, curbing, and driveway paving. Contractor Qualification Highway Division Required for DCAMM contracts over $150,000, Highway Division contracts over $50,000. All questions concerning this IFB and requests for interpretation of these documents shall be submitted in writing to the Procurement Officer / OWNER'S representative no less than three (3) business days before the due date for submissions. The work to be performed under this Contract consists of furnishing all necessary labor, materials and equipment required for the installation of hot mix asphalt (HMA) sidewalks, wheelchair ramps, curbing, and driveway paving on portions of Jackson Ave. and Murdock St. and Monument Park as shown in the plans. Work shall also include the labor materials and equipment to install a bus shelter system as shown on plans. Sidewalk installation will consist of removing the old HMA and concrete sidewalk and installing approximately 3,900 linear feet of 5' wide, 3" thick HMA sidewalks. New ADA wheelchair ramps will be installed at all intersections. A new bus stop shelter will be installed at the intersection of Jackson Ave, and Ipswitch Drive. The work hours are 7:00am to 3:30 pm Monday - Friday excluding Town holidays. Incidental to this contract, as needed, are all advance construction warning signs, ramps at joints, cones, and barrels needed to insure the safety of the public. The Contractor will have no claim for required mobilizations or delay due to unforeseen circumstances associated with Town utilities. The Contractor shall provide his services within (2) two weeks of the date requested by the Town and will submit a project schedule of work activities. Deadline for the entire work shall be November 15, 2026.
