The work of the project is defined by the Contract Documents prepared by BWA Architects, Inc. and consists of window and selective door replacement at North Elementary School. The work consists primarily of window replacement with energy efficient alumin storefront with operable windows. Replacement of select hollow metal and overhead doors are also included. The project includes all miscellaneous work typically associated with window and door replacement projects including, but not limited to: salvaging for reinstallation of existing windows air conditions, removal of existing fenestrations, flashing and replacing security contacts. The Work includes selective interior and exterior demolition as required to complete the above work, whether or not such demolition is indicated on drawings. 5. The work shall be performed in accordance with the Consolidated Massachusetts State Building Code, incorporating architectural, accessibility, structural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection regulations, with which the Contractor shall be familiar.
