Here's what it means for the ballpark and the community, according to a local communications executive. -------------------------------------------------------- The Oriole Park at Camden Yards Renovations Project Package 6 involves Main Concourse Restroom Renovations, Upper Concourse Restroom Renovations, MEP Equipment Replacement, and Club Corridor/Suites projects. The work includes several bid packages: Structural Steel/Misc Metals, Doors/Frames/Hardware, Glass & Glazing, Drywall/Ceilings, Fire Sprinkler, Mechanical/Plumbing, Electrical/Fire Alarm/Lighting Control, AV/Audio, and Tele/Data. There is a subcontract participation goal of 32% MBE, with subgoals of 8% African American and 11% Woman Owned business participation. Only MDOT-certified MBEs will count toward these goals. The project includes prevailing wage requirements. Bids must be submitted via Procore, and late bids will not be accepted. RFIs are due in advance of bid submission. Additional information will be provided to invited or pre-qualified trade contractors via Bid Supplement through Procore Bidding. To submit a bid, all bidders must prequalify online at https://compass-app.com prior to submitting their bid. MBE forms must be completed and submitted with all bid proposals.
