Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in Sulphur, Oklahoma. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel; and for paving for a bridge / tunnel.
Sealed bids are requested for the furnishing and installation of a new wellsite access bridge for the City of Sulphur/Sulphur Municipal Authority. The scope includes furnishing a prefabricated bridge and providing all earthwork, concrete abutments, rip rap, and installation of the prefabricated bridge. Compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions and the Davis Bacon Act is mandatory if the total project cost exceeds ten million dollars. All work and materials must meet the provided plans and specifications. 1.00 L.S. Furnishing of Prefabricated Bridge 1.00 L.S. Earthwork, Concrete Abutment, Rip Rap, and Installation of Prefabricated Bridge Funding for this project is provided through American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) grant program. Assuch, compliance with Labor Standards Contract Provisions is mandatory. Compliance with the Davis Bacon Act is mandatory if the total project cost exceeds $10,000,000 (ten million dollars). Instructions to bidders include: - Bids must be submitted by the specified deadline. - Plans and specifications must be obtained from the Engineer to be recognized as an eligible bidder. - Bids must be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check or a bidder's bond for 5% of the bid amount, as a guarantee. - A sworn statement regarding non-collusion must accompany the bid. - Construction, maintenance, and statutory payment bonds for 100% of the contract cost are required, from a surety licensed in Oklahoma and approved by the Owner and Engineer. - Compliance with equal opportunity, EPA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise requirements (including good faith efforts to solicit DBEs), and federal wage rules if applicable. - System for Award Management (SAM) registration is required for all applicants and awardees. - The contract will be awarded to the lowest, responsive, responsible bidder. The owner reserves the right to correct clerical errors, reject any and all bids, and will not accept conditional bids.
