Street reconstruction work includes full reconstruction of West 9th Street from W. Broadway Ave. to W. Muskogee Ave., approximately 500 feet. Work generally includes removals, earthwork, storm sewer improvements, sanitary sewer improvements, water line improvements, asphalt paving, aggregate base, stabilized subgrade, concrete curb and gutter, concrete commercial drives, traffic striping, pavement markings, and related appurtenances. Major items include approximately: removal of existing asphalt (2,218 SY, 6-inch), removal of existing curb & gutter (752 LF), unclassified excavation (1,627 CY), storm sewer pipe installation (463 LF, various sizes), 5 ft x 5 ft RC box culvert (1 EA), storm manholes (5 EA), curb inlets (3 EA), sanitary sewer pipe (523 LF, PVC SDR-35), sanitary manholes (4 EA), water line (677 LF, C-900 PVC), asphalt paving (244 TON 2-inch Superpave Type S4, 488 TON 4-inch Superpave Type S3), aggregate base (619 CY), concrete commercial drive (282 SY, 8-inch P.C.), stabilized subgrade (2,727 SY), concrete curb & gutter (670 LF), and thermoplastic striping (3,188 LF). Proposers may secure copies of the Bid Documents by contacting the Project Coordinator or downloading from the designated website after registering as a Plan holder. Only prospective bidders who obtain documents through the designated source will be registered as document holders and automatically receive any addenda. No partial sets will be issued. Neither the Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for documents obtained from other sources. Prospective bidders may obtain or examine the documents at the issuing office during normal business hours.
