Site work for an educational facility in Pittsgrove, New Jersey. Completed plans call for site work for a educational facility.
Sealed bids are requested for the On-Site Sanitary Sewage Disposal System Alteration at Arthur P. Schalick High School. Bidders must submit a Lump Sum Bid for all work and materials. Bidders must be classified/prequalified by the DPMC in the applicable project categories (C056-Sewer Piping & Storm Drains, C062-Pumping Stations & C111-Septic Systems), and if not classified in C047 (Electrical), must subcontract to prequalified subcontractors. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check, bank cashier's check, treasurer's check, or Bid Bond with corporate surety satisfactory to the Owner, in an amount of 10% of the Total Lump Sum Bid Amount, not exceeding $20,000.00. Compliance with New Jersey law is required, including prequalification of bidders, prevailing wage rates, use of domestic materials, and ownership disclosure certification. All bidders must comply with affirmative action requirements and include an Initial Project Workforce Report (Form AA-201) from the successful contractor. The Public Works Contractor Registration Act requires that the bidder and named prime subcontractors are registered at the time of the bid. Proof of registration and a certificate from a surety company for providing a bond must be included. Bids may not be withdrawn for 60 days after the opening.
