These are the La Villageoise multi-purpose track, over a length of approximately 2,000 metres, as well as a provisional section, approximately 1,000 metres long, which, weather permitting, will be carried out as part of the same project, and a new section of the Villageoise multi-purpose track, between Boulevard du Docteur-Gervais and Rue de Saint-Jovite, extending the cycle lane on Rue Cadieux, over a length of approximately 300 metres. This work consists of the final levelling of the crushed stone sub-base, including the supply, transport and grading of MG-20 granular material to an average thickness of 50 mm, and the supply, transport and laying of EB-10S asphalt surfacing to a thickness of 40 mm. Delivery schedule For the execution of the works, the Contractor must allow for two mobilization periods to enable the City to carry out preparatory work for each phase. This means around 25 May for the start of works on the La Villageoise multi-purpose track and around 8 September for the start of works to extend the cycle lane on Rue Cadieux. Unless otherwise notified by the City, the paving works must be completed by 12 June 2026 at the latest for the La Villageoise multi-purpose track and by 11 September for the extension of the cycle lane on Rue Cadieux. It should be noted that paving works are scheduled for the same period on Chemin Duplessis, starting from the junction with Chemin des Voyageurs, over a distance of approximately 300 metres. The Contractor must factor potential delays in material deliveries, due to alternating traffic at this worksite, into their unit prices. The project kick-off meeting will enable a precise schedule to be established, to avoid, as far as possible, any overlap between the partial obstructions on Chemin Duplessis and the works on the La Villageoise multi-purpose path. If these specifications are not met through the Contractor's fault, the additional costs incurred may be borne entirely by the Contractor.
