The improvements to be constructed under this contract shall be performed along the Illinois Tollway at the following locations in Lake, DuPage, and Cook County, Illinois Bridge 120 (016-9717) Northbound I-294 over Ashland Avenue, CN Railroad, and Wood Street Bridge 141 (016-9849) Northbound I-294 over 135th Street Bridge 142 (016-9848) Southbound I-294 over 135th Street Bridge 157 (016-9841) Northbound I-294 over 115th Street Bridge 165 (016-9832) Northbound I-294 over Southwest Highway Bridge 273 (022-9996) Northbound I-294 to Westbound I-88 Ramp over I88 and Salt Creek Bridge 331 (016-0531) Willow Road over I-294 Bridge 447 (049-0094) Westbound I-94 over Southbound US 41 TS4.00R, NB Retaining Wall barrier on Northbound I-294 MP 4.10 Culvert at I-294 Milepost 14.1 TN22.30N, EB Noise Abatement Wall on I-94 MP 22.30 The work consists of partial depth transition and approach slab repairs, removal and replacement of joints, cleaning and resealing joints, PPC beam repairs, cleaning and painting existing bearings, structural repair of concrete, removal and replacement of guardrail, parapet removal and replacement, epoxy crack injection, MSE wall panel stabilization, noise abatement wall repairs, culvert pipe joint repair, asphalt shoulder repairs, bridge deck repairs, maintenance of traffic, and other miscellaneous work across Lake County, DuPage County, and Cook County, Illinois. Bidders may be required to be pre-qualified by the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT). Joint ventures are limited to no more than three individually IDOT pre-qualified members. Bidders must be registered, or submit evidence of application, with the Illinois Department of Human Rights (IDHR). All bids must be on forms prescribed by the Illinois Tollway and must comply with the terms and conditions set forth in the contract documents. A Bid Guaranty amounting to five percent of the total bid is required. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, but the Tollway reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive technicalities, or cancel the solicitation.
