The Saint Louis Zoo ("Zoo") is seeking proposals from qualified vendors to provide the design, fabrication, delivery, software provisioning, and installation coordination of outdoor digital wayfinding and information kiosks to be installed at the Zoo's Forest Park campus located at: One Government Drive St. Louis, Missouri 63110 The kiosks will support both interactive wayfinding functionality and non-interactive digital messaging and will be deployed exclusively in outdoor environments across the Zoo campus. The selected vendor shall provide a turnkey kiosk solution, including hardware, software compatibility, system configuration, and coordination of installation with the Zoo's designated electrical and network contractor. The Zoo intends for the solution to be scalable, allowing for potential future expansion of digital kiosks across additional Zoo locations. Specifications The Zoo intends to deploy four (4) outdoor digital kiosks consisting of: o Three (3) single-sided kiosks o One (1) double-sided kiosk The kiosks shall include a total of five (5) outdoor-rated digital displays. Display sizes should be approximately 55 inches; however, vendors may propose equivalent display sizes that meet the operational and visibility requirements of the project. The system shall include a total of five (5) displays, three (3) interactive touch-enabled display surfaces, and one (1) dedicated media player per display (or equivalent dedicated processing architecture).Hardware Requirements Each kiosk solution shall include: o Outdoor-rated commercial display(s) suitable for continuous operation o High-brightness displays suitable for direct sunlight environments o Weather-resistant enclosures designed for permanent outdoor installations o Integrated or compatible digital signage media players o Location- based services o Mounting structures and internal component integration o Internal temperature management (cooling/heating systems as required) o Durable and vandal-resistant enclosure construction o Serviceable and modular components allowing maintenance access o Display brightness shall be suitable for full outdoor sunlight visibility (minimum 2,500-3,500 nits). o Displays and components shall be rated for continuous 24/7 operation.
