Site work and paving for a civil project in Syosset, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; and water / sewer project.

Sealed proposals are invited for the construction of highway and drainage improvements in the Southwood Circle Area, Phase 4 & 5, located in Syosset, Town of Oyster Bay, New York. Each bid must be prepared and submitted in accordance with the instructions to bidders and must be accompanied by bid security in the form of a certified check, bank check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total amount of the bid. Contractors are required to comply with all applicable Federal, State, and Local Laws. The contractor must also have an apprenticeship program in effect at the time of bid opening, appropriate for the type and scope of work, approved by the New York State Commissioner of Labor. Proof of participation in the apprenticeship program(s) must be submitted within five business days of bid opening, or the bidder will be deemed non-responsive. Question Deadline 04/13/2026In the event that clarification of contract provisions is needed by a prospective bidder, said bidder shall before bidding make a written request for an interpretation thereon to the Engineer. This request must be received at least two (2) working days prior to the opening of the bids established in the NOTICE TO BIDDERS.
