Sealed bids are requested for the Ballroom Entry Roofed Walkway Alteration at Springvale Golf Course & Ballroom. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the ordinance number, opening date, and item being bid. Each separate bid must be in its own envelope and delivered to the City of North Olmsted City Hall. Each bid must include a certified check for 10% of the bid amount or a 100% Bid Bond, payable to the City of North Olmsted, as a guarantee that a contract will be entered into and a Performance Bond equal to 100% of the total bid will be furnished. The deposit of the successful bidder will be held until the contract is executed; deposits for unsuccessful bidders will be returned after the award. Bid documents, specifications, and drawings can be examined online or purchased from specified locations, and only registered planholders with the City will have their bids considered. The City reserves the right to accept all or part of any bid, reject any and all bids, waive informality, and accept the lowest and best bid or combination. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates and employment nondiscrimination requirements. The estimated cost is $130,800.00. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents or the Contract Documents shall be submitted to OWNER in writing.
