The work includes the construction of the following approximate quantities: 23,000 LF remove curb & gutter; 4,200 SY remove concrete walk; 2,400 SY remove concrete pavement; 21,000 SY remove bituminous pavement; 8,400 CY excavation - common; 6,000 CY aggregate base class 5; 30,000 SY mill bituminous surface (7.5"-10"); 12,000 TON type 12.5 wearing course mix; 700 LF RC pipe sewer (12" - 18"); 11 each hydrant; 192 each 1" corporation/curb stop; 26 each gate valves (6"-16"); 3,900 LF 1" type K copper pipe; 5,400 LF watermain ductile iron CL 52 (6" - 16"); 320 LF construct drainage structure; 48,000 SF concrete walk; 23,000 LF concrete curb & gutter; 3,000 SY concrete driveway; 1,900 CY common topsoil borrow; 11,000 SY sodding type lawn. All work under the contract must be completed by the dates specified in the project specifications. Proposals will only be accepted if submitted electronically through BidVAULT from contractors listed as plan holders on the city's OneOffice site. A bid bond not less than 5% of the total amount bid must accompany each bid. The City Council reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive irregularities and informalities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the city.
