The work includes campus-wide fire alarm replacement at Pleasant Valley School of Engineering and Arts (PVSEA) at Los Altos Campus as per drawings and specifications. All interested bidders must be properly licensed with a Class C-10 license, and registered under Labor Code section 1725.5 for public works. A mandatory pre-bid site visit is required. Bids must be sealed and accompanied by a bidder's bond, cashier's check, or certified check for at least ten percent of the base bid. The successful bidder must furnish a Payment (Labor and Material) Bond and a Faithful Performance Bond, each for one hundred percent of the Contract Sum. The contract period is fifty calendar days, and liquidated damages for delay will accrue.
