The project involves the construction of a 10.0 MGD membrane water treatment facility. The scope of work includes grading and site preparation, installation of ceramic membrane treatment skids and auxiliary equipment, new raw water pumps, a new high service pump, a raw water intake screen, chemical storage tanks and feed equipment, a 70,000 gallon feed water storage tank, a 13,600 square foot pre-engineered metal building, and other auxiliary equipment as indicated. Instructions to bidders include: - Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check on a solvent bank or a Bidder's Bond issued by a Surety Company licensed in Tennessee, in the amount of five percent of the total bid price. - The successful bidder will be required to execute a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond, each for 100 percent of the contract amount, issued by a Surety Company licensed in the State and authorized by the U.S. Treasury. - Each bidder must be a licensed contractor under Tennessee regulations and display license number, expiration date, and license classification on the outside of the bid envelope for the general contractor and major subcontractors. - Bidders must comply with the Iran Divestment Act and certify they are not, and will not be, engaged in a Boycott of Israel for the duration of the contract. - No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of sixty days after the bid opening without the owner's consent. - All further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award are included in the Instructions to Bidders in the bidding documents.
