Sealed bids will be received for the BODI ROAD TR #234 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENT PROJECT AT STATE ROUTE #2 as per specifications and plans prepared by the County Engineer. Bids must be sealed and endorsed with the name of the bidder and the project bid upon. No bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of 60 days after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project must follow the 2 CFR Part 184 Guidelines regarding BUY AMERICA PREFERENCES FOR INFRASTRUCTURE PROJECTS, agree to 2 CFR Part 175 AWARD TERM FOR TRAFFICKING IN PERSONS, and follow the guidance in FHWA 1273. The project falls under the federal requirements of the Davis-Bacon Act for prevailing wages. Contractor compliance with the Federal and State of Ohio Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements shall be required. The awarding body reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities, and award the contract to the lowest and best bidder as determined by the Township Trustees in accordance with relevant Ohio law. Pre-qualification requirements: Only pre-qualified contractors are eligible to submit bids for this project.
