Bid request is for the following approximate quantities: 100 ton — #4 Ballast, 1,000 ton — #2A Aggregate, 200 ton — #8 Stone, 200 ton — AASHTO No. 10 Screenings, 500 ton — #57 Clean, 200 ton — Shot Rock. These quantities are approximate and provided for bidding purposes only. Actual quantities may vary based on Township needs. Materials are to be delivered in load lots or part truck loads if required by the Township throughout the season. The unit bid shall include delivery. The successful bidder is required to furnish materials within 24 hours of notification throughout the season. Certified analysis of materials must meet current PennDOT specifications and be submitted on PennDOT Form MS-963. The successful bidder shall furnish a bond guaranteeing performance of the contract in the amount of 10% of the contract amount within 20 days after the contract is awarded. Bids must be submitted sealed and in accordance with PennDOT regulations. Hamilton Township reserves the right to reject any and all bids or portions thereof.
