Tenders must be accompanied by a tender bond in the form of a surety bond issued by a financial institution, for an amount equal to ten per cent (10%) of the total tender amount, including taxes, and valid for a period of 30 days from the date of tender opening. They must also be accompanied by a letter of undertaking guaranteeing the issue of a performance bond and a bond for the successful tenderer's obligations in respect of labor, materials and services, each for fifty per cent (50%) of the total tender amount, including taxes.
