Site work for a development in Henniker, New Hampshire. Completed plans call for site work for a development.
The Town of Henniker is seeking bid proposals for the portable crushing of 3,000 cubic yards of gravel. Gravel must be crushed down to 1.5 inch, sourced from existing tailing, salvage pile, and open embankment. Bids must specify the price per cubic yard. The crusher must have a minimum 30 by 42-inch primary jaw and a secondary cone crusher to size material. Crushing must be completed by the end of June 2026. Proposals must be on company letterhead, state price and specifications, and include a certificate of insurance. Bidders must bid to specifications, but deviations may be noted as exceptions. Bid amounts must be guaranteed for at least thirty days from the bid opening. Any cost increases after award or contract signing must be absorbed by the bidder. The Board of Selectmen reserves broad discretion to accept, reject, or negotiate bids as it determines best serves the Town's interest. Bids must be sealed and clearly marked as "Crushed Gravel Bid 2026" and delivered to the Town Hall by the specified deadline.
