Reference number: 20134147 Deadline for receipt of complaints 2026-04-09 There is provision for a tendering process for each tender Option A (1 site : Alouette) Option B (2 sites : Alouette et Clarke) Option C (3 sites : Alouette, Clarke et Gallix) Electronic tender submission accepted No Expected duration of the contract without options (in months) 6 Description 1.1 Purpose of the tender With this call for tenders, the City of Sept-Îles is requesting bids to empty and dispose of municipal biosolids from its peripheral treatment plants. The contract will be awarded to a single successful bidder, depending on which of the proposed options the City chooses. Option A (1 site): Alouette Treatment Plant, Ponds No. 1 and 2 Option B (2 sites): Alouette Treatment Plant, Pond 1 and 2 Clarke wastewater treatment plant, cells Nos. 1, 2 and 3 Option C (3 sites) : Alouette Treatment Plant, Ponds No. 1 and 2 Clarke wastewater treatment plant, cells Nos. 1, 2 and 3 Gallix wastewater treatment plant, ponds No. 1 and 2 For the entire work, the tenderer may use any dehydration and disposal method of his choice, in particular centrifugation or liquid form. However, he cannot resort to passive dehydration. Furthermore, in the event that sludge is deemed non-recoverable, the City wishes to obtain, for reference only, a unit price in accordance with the "Non-recoverable sludge" section of the technical clauses. Regarding the Alouette wastewater treatment plant, it is located in an industrial environment. The successful tenderer must take the necessary measures to know the procedures to be applied for carrying out the work in this specific area. 1.2 Location of the work The work will take place at the Alouette, Clarke and Gallix treatment plants, located respectively at the following locations, according to the option chosen by the City: - Alouette wastewater treatment plant 401 Pointe-Noire Road in Sept-Îles - Clarke Treatment Plant 601 Church Street in Sept-Îles - Gallix wastewater treatment plant 3825, Marguerite Street in Sept-Îles In the event that sludge is determined to be non-recoverable by the successful bidder, it must be sent to the landfill site of the Centre de gestion des matières résiduelles. - Waste Management Centre (CGMR) 750, chemin du Lac-Daigle in Sept-Îles. 3.12 Work schedule The pumping, conditioning, and dehydration work must be carried out between June 1 and October 15, 2026.
