Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jackson, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The work consists of resurfacing approximately 0.39 miles of CR76 (Beaver Pike) from Jackson City Limits to the entrance of Westview Elementary School, and other miscellaneous items associated with the construction of the JAC-CR76-8.79 project. Bids must include a guaranty in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, letter of credit revocable only at the option of the CITY OF JACKSON in an amount equal to 10% of the bid or a bond in accordance with division (B) of Section 153.54 of the Revised Code. Each proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested. Bidders must submit evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. The Contractor must be ODOT prequalified, the SBE Goal is 6%, and all contractors and subcontractors must use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor where practicable. Contractor compliance with equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123 is required. Bidders must comply with prevailing wage rates as determined by the Ohio Department of Commerce, Bureau of Wage and Hour Administration. The CITY OF JACKSON reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities as may be in its best interest.
