The Scope of Work includes the removal of approximately 545 cubic yards of sediment as well as clearing of vegetation and construction of an access route. Traffic control and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. The plans indicate accessing via St. Louis County right-of-way. The contractor will be required to provide certificate of insurance and acquire the Special Use Permit. Instructions to bidders: Two copies of the bid must be submitted in a sealed envelope with the project name, date, and time of opening clearly written on the envelope. A bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid amount must accompany each bid. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers performing under this Contract in this area according to the rates determined by the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations of the State of Missouri. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
