Sealed bids are being solicited for water system improvements for the Yalobusha Water & Sewer District. The project is funded in part by a Mississippi Municipality and County Water Infrastructure Grant Program Act and is subject to its rules and regulations. Minority and woman-owned business enterprises are encouraged to participate as prime contractors and to inquire about subcontracting opportunities and supply needs. The project requires compliance with the Davis-Bacon Act, mandating that all laborers and mechanics be paid prevailing wage rates as determined by the Department of Labor for the project locality. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality. Bids may be held for up to 60 days for review and bidder qualification investigations before contract award.
