The City of Charleston is seeking bids for the removal and replacement of composite decking and nailer boards on the floating dock system at Haddad River Front Park. The project involves removing existing Trex composite decking and Southern Yellow Pine nailers from the steel truss frame docking system, properly disposing of removed materials, and installing new composite decking and composite nailer boards that meet or exceed the specifications. The provided specifications and drawings are intended to describe the needs of the City without excluding any manufacturer from bidding. The project may require a West Virginia contractor's license, marine construction experience, and performance/payment bonds. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at Haddad River Front Park to discuss and clarify project details, specifications, and timeframe.
