New construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Calvert City, Kentucky. Completed plans call for the construction of a 7,200-square-foot warehouse / distribution facility.
The City of Calvert City, Kentucky is accepting proposals for construction, labor, and materials for a storage building (60 x 120'x16') for Calvert City Public Works. A copy of the scope and specifications for the project is available from the City Clerk at Calvert City City Hall. After review of all received proposals, a contract may be awarded to the person(s) submitting the lowest and most responsible proposal, unless all proposals are rejected pursuant to the Calvert City Procurement Policy. "Responsive and responsible proposal" determinations may require the production of a bid proposer's credit report, credit history, or other documentation to determine the proposer's ability to fully perform contract requirements. Proposals may be evaluated on cost, value, quality of workmanship, quality of materials, reliability, experience, expertise, reputation, service, availability, location, timeliness, quality, convenience, references, and specification compliance. Interested parties must prepare and deliver a sealed proposal clearly labeled "Public Works Building" to the City of Calvert City, City Clerk, at the specified address by the stated deadline. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
