Site work and new construction of an educational facility in Thibodaux, Louisiana. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility.
Sealed bids will be received for the Women's Student Athlete Performance Center at Nicholls State University, Thibodaux, Louisiana. Complete bidding documents are available electronically at no charge from the specified website. All bids must include bid security amounting to five percent of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, in the form as stated in the Instructions to Bidders in the project Bid Documents. The successful bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond as described in the Instructions to Bidders. Bids will only be accepted from contractors licensed for Building Construction under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192, and must comply with all applicable statutes. No bid may be withdrawn for forty-five days except as provided by law. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. Award of the contract is contingent on funding availability, including any required state or federal financing. Facility Planning and Control participates in the Small Entrepreneurship (Hudson Initiative) and Veteran-Owned Small Entrepreneurships (LaVet) programs and encourages participation.
