Provide all labor, tools, materials, and equipment for the repairs to the Harold J. Callais Recreation Center. Bids shall be accepted from Contractors who are licensed under LA. R.S. 37:2150-2192 for the classification of Building Construction or other specialty classification that qualifies the bidder to complete this type of work. Bid responses must be submitted on the provided bid documents. All bids must be accompanied by bid security in an amount of five percent (5.0%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates. Performance and Payment Bonds, Workers Compensation and Employers Liability, General Liability and Automobile Liability insurance, and Builders Risk Insurance are required. Bidders are encouraged to consider participation in the Small Entrepreneurship (SE) Program and the Veteran-Owned and Service-Connected Disabled Veteran-Owned (LaVet) Small Entrepreneurships Program. The University reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause.
