The general method of storm drain construction work includes demolition and replacement of existing concrete catch basins, local depressions, cross gutter, asphalt concrete pavement, and Portland cement concrete curb and gutters, sidewalks, curb ramp, traffic detector loops, trenching and installation of new reinforced concrete pipes within existing roadways and right-of-ways, erosion control BMPs, and construction of new concrete junction structures, manholes, and collars. The work also includes traffic control. Bidders must have a California Contractor's License Class "A." Bid bond of 10%, payment bond of 100%, and performance bond of 100% are required.
