Maintenance dredging is required at the Marine Corps Support Facility - Blount Island from Station 0+00 to Station 56+09.1. The work consists of dredging to a required maintenance depth of 38 feet Mean Lower Low Water with an additional two feet of allowable overdepth, as depicted on the project drawings. Dredged material shall be transported and placed at the Dayson Island Disposal Area as indicated in the drawings. The scope of work also includes environmental monitoring activities, turbidity monitoring, disposal monitoring, and standby time necessary to support dredging operations. All work shall be performed in accordance with the contract requirements and within the established period of performance following receipt of the Notice to Proceed.
