As of May 08, 2026, the project was awarded to Wiregrass Construction, with an awarded amount of $620,110.50. Constructing the Abbeville Crosswalk Improvements, Project No. ST-034-888-006. Principal items of work include approximately: 230 cubic yards of unclassified excavation, 100 cubic yards of borrow excavation (A4 or better), 480 tons of 3/4" wearing surface, 85 square yards of plain cement concrete pavement 12" thick (stamped and colored), 68 square yards of concrete sidewalk 4" thick, and 180 square yards of curb ramp. The project must be completed within 90 working days.
