Contract No. 8200-26-01 consists of the replacement of an existing pressure reducing valve pit within a manhole with a new pressure reducing valve within a vault, along with other waterline and appurtenances. Work under this contract includes all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the contract documents. The project is located in Conemaugh Township, Cambria County, PA. Prospective bidders must obtain bidding documents from the Issuing Office to be eligible to bid. Partial sets of bidding documents will not be available. Printed or electronic copies can be acquired for a non-refundable fee. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is mandatory to be eligible to bid. Before the contract is awarded, the successful bidder must provide a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount, executed by a satisfactory surety, and furnish evidence of the required insurance coverage. Bidders must comply with all State anti-bid-rigging regulations and submit an executed non-collusion affidavit with the bid. Compliance with the Steel Procurement Act and Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates as specified in the contract documents is required. The obligations imposed by the funding agency also apply to the successful bidder(s). The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the work.
