The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Johnstown is accepting bids for the purchase of Sodium Hypochlorite for the Dornick Point Wastewater Treatment Plant. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond of an approved surety, cashier's check, certified check, or bank letter of credit payable to the Authority in the amount of at least ten percent of the total bid. General liability insurance must be provided by the bidder/contractor naming the Authority as an additional insured, in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. No proposed insurance is acceptable without identifying the Authority as an additional insured. No exceptions to the bid are permitted; any bid containing exceptions will be considered non-responsive. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, accept any bid, waive any informality or technicality, omit any items deemed advisable, or withhold/abandon the award of the contract. Bids may be held for up to sixty days for review and investigation of qualifications prior to awarding the contract.
