The Redevelopment Authority of the City of Johnstown is seeking proposals from qualified contractors for a roof replacement project for the office building located at 416 Main Street, Johnstown, PA 15901. Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Bond of an approved surety, cashier's check, certified check, or bank letter of credit payable to the Authority in the amount of not less than ten percent of the total bid. A Certificate of Insurance is also required, with general liability insurance naming the Authority as additional insured in the amount of $2,000,000 per occurrence and $2,000,000 aggregate. Any proposed insurance must identify the Redevelopment Authority of the City of Johnstown as additional insured on the Bidders Certificate of Insurance. Bids must be received at the Authority's office by the specified deadline. The Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids/proposals, to accept any bid, to waive any informality or technicality on bids received, to omit any item or items deemed advisable, or to withhold and/or abandon the final award of the contract. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed sixty days from the date of opening for review and investigation of the bidders' qualifications. No exceptions to the bid are permitted; any bid containing exceptions shall be considered non-responsive.
