Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Johnstown, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
Demolition of existing playground swing set and timber border, installation of a new swing set and playground border, installation of a 12'x12' wood construction pavilion, Alternate 1: Sidewalk and concrete pad, and Alternate 2: basketball court upgrades, and all related work. Work under this contract shall include all materials, equipment, supplies, and labor for the construction as shown and specified in the Contract Documents. The Work is in the Woodvale area of the City of Johnstown, Cambria County, PA. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. Prior to the award of the contract, the successful bidder shall furnish a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond to the Owner, in the form contained in the Contract Documents and executed by a satisfactory circular 570 listed surety, each equal to 100% of the total contract amount and shall also furnish evidence of insurance coverage as required by the contract documents. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids, including without limitation, nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced, or conditional Bids. Owner also reserves the right to waive all minor informalities not involving price, time, or changes in the Work and to award the contract as may be deemed in the best interest of the Owner.
